The project will add a new two-level wing on the existing Family & Consumer Sciences Building. Issues with site and Campus Master Plan implementation have been resolved. An Architect was selected, and a contract executed. The final program document and budget was issued in January 2008. Temporary classroom buildings were installed on-site in December 2008 for use during construction. The construction bid documents were posted in January 2009 for Competitive Sealed Proposals. Strong contractor interest was demonstrated.

Status: A contract and NTP were issued to Workman Commercial on May 11, 2009. Minor renovations of the existing building must occur after completion of the new wing and the occupants have moved into the new wing. The completed project is scheduled to be occupied and open for classes in August 2010.
