The Poppies room is where children transition from toddlers to pre-schoolers. Teachers, Jennifer Nichols and Laura Callihan use the Creative Curriculum to develop age appropriate activities that continue to improve coordination, increase verbal skills and further develop problem solving skills. Children begin the toilet learning process with a partnership between home and school. We encourage independence and development of their self esteem and confidence. Our toddlers also start to learn social skills such as cooperation and sharing.  The approximate age group for the Poppies Classroom is 24 months to 3 years old.

A variety of different activities are provided to foster their curiosity, such as:
