This process requires about six to eight weeks to complete. Students must also provide proof to Texas State that they are covered by health insurance and to SIE that they (or their parents) have an adequate cash reserve to cover their living costs while abroad, this amount is currently $1,000 per month. All students will meet with the director of the international office prior to the trip.
