Elizabeth M. Blunk is an Associate Professor in the Family and Child Development Program in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. She has been teaching at Texas State University since earning a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Dr. Blunk is currently the FCD Program Coordinator.

Her research interests focus on infant/mother attachment, children’s perceptions of the elderly, and teacher/child interactions.
