Elizabeth Morgan Russell, Assistant Professor of Family and Consumer Sciences at Texas State University, received her doctorate in Human Ecology from the University of Texas at Austin.
In the past year, she has taught courses in Advanced Child Development, Infants and Toddlers, Program Administration I and II, and Family Policy.
Her main research interests include Emotional Intelligence of ECE Directors, Preschool Children’s Peer Conflict and Related Teacher Strategies, Child Care Quality, and Preschool Teacher-Child Relationships.
She is currently conducting a program evaluation of the Parents of Newborns Program administered by a nonprofit agency, Family Connections, located in Austin, Texas.
